Why the wagering line matters most

Take a hypothetical ₱500 bonus with a 20× wagering requirement on the bonus only. You must bet 500 × 20 = ₱10,000 before any winnings tied to the bonus become withdrawable. If the requirement applied to bonus plus a ₱500 deposit, it would be 1,000 × 20 = ₱20,000. Playing a 97% RTP slot, the long-run expected cost of ₱10,000 in bets is ₱300, and of ₱20,000 is ₱600. Actual offers, multipliers and amounts vary by operator; the arithmetic is what carries over.

• Find the base: bonus only, or bonus plus deposit.
• Multiply the base by the wagering multiplier to get total bets required.
• Divide that total by your usual stake to see how many rounds it takes.
• Multiply total bets by the house edge of your chosen game for the long-run expected cost.
• Weigh that cost and time against the bonus amount before claiming.
